This spring, we have yet another amazing festival to look forward to…and it’s perfect for foodies and wine-lovers alike! The New Orleans Wine & Food Experience highlights the best of the Big Easy, and we have all the details you need to know about this four day extravaganza.
What is the New Orleans Wine & Food Experience?
In short, the New Orleans Wine & Food Experience (NOWFE) is NOLA’s biggest celebration of food, wine, culture, and so much more. There’s no better place to learn about what’s hot or not in the culinary world, sample local and international flavors, and mingle with top chefs. Wine connoisseurs will also adore this one-of-a-kind experience, and you’ll also get the opportunity to chat with the area’s top winemakers!
This four-day excursion takes place all throughout the Crescent City from March 18th to the 22nd, and you can always check their calendar of events to see what’s going on. Over 7,000 gourmands have attended in the past, so be sure to prep for some pretty big crowds.
What should I expect?
The NOWFE can be a lot to take in, but most events are divided into categories for easy planning. If you want a taste of everything, you might want to invest in a full ticket package—but we’ll talk about that a bit later!
If you’re looking to start your weekend off right, consider attending one of the introductory wine dinners at one of the top restaurants in New Orleans. There are plenty of eateries to choose from, which means there’s something to fit every budget! If you’re really into wine, you’ll want to check out the Thursday Vinola. This is an amazing opportunity to sip on rare wines, with each sample boasting a retail value of at least $75.

How can I get tickets?
This year, the New Orleans Wine & Food Experience is offering tasting packages at a variety of price points. Of course, you can always purchase à la carte tickets if you’re only interested in certain events!
Packages start at just $340, but they climb all the way up to $2,700! If you’re looking to splurge a little, the VIP Package is the way to go. This will give you access to all of the Experience’s best events, including four Labs, early entry to the Vinola event, two Grand Tastings, and a voucher for the NOWFE merchandise store.
