Gabriel: Kenner

River Ridge comes with a big bonus, too: it’s part of the Mississippi River Trail, which stretches over 3,000 miles through 10 states. The River Ridge section of the trail is paved and connects with other neighborhoods in the area.
Slidell: The North Shore
Located just 30 miles from the heart of New Orleans, Slidell is a large NOLA suburb known for its amazing selection of waterfront homes. The community itself sits on the shores of Lake Pontchartrain, but the lake is far from its only option for waterfront living. Eden Isles, one of Slidell’s most sought-after communities, is known for its network of canals perfect for boat-owners and anglers.
Another big benefit to Slidell? Its easy access to major highways, like US-11 and I-10, for quick access to NOLA, and other major cities.
